College of Health and Human Development names summer 2022 student marshal

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Lily Whitmoyer, daughter of Cydney and Jeffrey Whitmoyer of Mohrsville, Pennsylvania, will serve as the college marshal for the College of Health and Human Development at Penn State’s summer commencement ceremony on Aug. 13, 2022.

Whitmoyer will graduate with a bachelor’s degree in human development and family studies. She was a leader of Relay for Life at Penn State, serving as the public relations chair during the 2020-21 academic year and the executive event director during the 2021-22 academic year. She was also a photographer for Onward State, a student-run news site.

Whitmoyer is a graduate of Schuylkill Valley High School in Leesport, Pennsylvania. After graduation, she will attend the University of Central Florida to pursue a Master of Social Work degree.
