38th Children’s Miracle Network Telethon raises $366,819

HERSHEY, Pa. — The 38th annual Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) Telethon raised $366,819 to benefit equipment, programs and research at Penn State Health Children’s Hospital. The event aired June 6-9 on WGAL8.

“We truly appreciate all those who chose to donate to CMN,” said Valerie Hester, whose children, Xander and Savannah, were featured in the broadcast. The Hester siblings receive care for severe gastrointestinal issues and other conditions. The funds raised from this year’s telethon will support child life, care and research for patients like the Hester siblings.

“We are beyond grateful for our incredible sponsors, generous donors inspiring Miracle Families and WGAL8 for making our 38th annual telethon another memorable event,” said Katie Anderson, director of Children’s Miracle Network at Penn State Health. “Together, we give kids the Gift of Growing Up.”
