Motorcycle enthusiasts from the Lancaster area visited Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital on Saturday, Oct. 12 to deliver toys and more than $35,000 in contributions from the Central Pennsylvania Confederation of Motorcycle Clubs Ride to benefit the Child Life program at the Children’s Hospital.

The event was organized by leaders of several motorcycle clubs with one goal in mind – serving pediatric patients in the region. More than 200 motorcyclists joined forces to make their first year event a success, and all were surprised by the outpouring of support they found from sponsors and their fellow community members. The group plans to make their ride an annual event, and is setting their sights high for the ride in 2014.
