Patient event focuses on living with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis

To help central Pennsylvanians living with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis (inflammatory bowel disease), Penn State Hershey experts will host a patient symposium beginning at 6 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 2, at Penn State Harrisburg in the Morrison Gallery at the library. Providers will answer questions and present current and relevant information on diagnosis, medical management and surgical management of IBD. The symposium, “IBD: Taking Control of Your Disease — A patient symposium focused on inflammatory bowel disease,” will be presented by Dr. Walter Koltun; Dr. Andrew Tinsley; Dr. Emmanuelle D. Williams; and Dr. Marc Schaefer.
