HERSHEY, Pa. — The 10th annual People’s Pay 4 Play on WQXA-FM 105.7 The X on Nov. 10 and 11 raised a record-breaking $210,320 for Children’s Miracle Network at Penn State Children’s Hospital. That brings the event’s ten-year fundraising tally to $1,214,520.

Jen Shade, Nipsey and Earl David Reed from The People’s Morning Show hosted the 28-hour event during which listeners made donations in exchange for song requests.

“Children’s Miracle Network would like to thank WQXA-FM, their listeners, local businesses, event sponsors, volunteers and patients and their families for their outstanding support,” said Danielle Sunday, director of Children's Miracle Network at the Children’s Hospital.

The money will help fund life-saving equipment, family-centered programs and innovative research at the Children’s Hospital.
