Penn State Health St. Joseph will relocate the outpatient services it currently offers in Shelbourne Square, Exeter Township, and the physician and outpatient services it offers on Prospect Street in St. Lawrence into the Exeter Ridge Corporate Center at Neversink Road and Perkiomen Avenue by early 2016. These services will be joined at the new location by Exeter Healthways, an independent multi-physician practice of Integrated Medical Group (IMG) PC, currently located at 3909 Perkiomen Ave. in Exeter Township.
The facility, which will be re-named the Exeter Ridge Health Complex, will offer more access and user-friendly outpatient services in one location.
The 33,000-square-foot health complex will include family practice physicians, a medical fitness program — to include maintenance cardiac and pulmonary rehab — and physical therapy and sports medicine. It also will offer lab, X-ray and digital mammography, with plans for additional imaging modalities in the near future. Penn State Health St. Joseph will be the majority tenant in the building.
The Exeter Ridge Health Complex offers ample parking, more modern and larger facilities, and space for expansion.
“This new location provides us with an ideal site to grow our physician practices and welcome new patients and will increase collaboration among our services," said Mary Hahn, vice president of strategy and business development, Penn State Health St. Joseph. "In addition to enhancing the efficiencies in our practices, our patients and customers, particularly those in our health fitness services, will find that having comprehensive services in one place will make it user-friendly."
Additionally, Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Group was also recently appointed as the physician group for the 4,400-student Exeter Township School District.
The Exeter Ridge Health Complex announcement follows on the heels of Penn State Health St. Joseph’s recent announcement on the opening of a new primary care physician practice and outpatient location in Muhlenberg Township under the direction of Dr. David Clymer. New patients are being accepted there.
