Elizabeth Bajc, a nurse in the Medical Intermediate Care Unit at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, earned one of five 2014 Nurses’ Choice Awards, presented by Tangent Medical, during Nurses Week, May 6 to 12.
The Nurses’ Choice Awards were created to honor and recognize those clinicians who demonstrate excellence in improving patient comfort, satisfaction, safety and the overall quality of patient care. Every nurse considered for this award was nominated by a nursing professional in hospitals and practices across the U.S and Canada. Bajc was nominated for the award by Victoria Schirm, director of nursing research at Penn State Hershey.
Bajc and the other winners are featured for their accomplishments at www.tangentmedical.com/blog. All five national winners received a Tangent Medical 2014 Nurses’ Choice Awards plaque and $300 in educational gifts. Winning nominators will also be rewarded with $100 in educational gifts.
