The 19th annual Sporting Clays event raised more than $78,000 for Children’s Miracle Network at Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital. Participants in this challenging and unique event make their way through a course and take aim at a variety of clay targets that duplicate the flight path of game birds.

The event, which was held on April 11 at Hummelstown Field and Stream, is organized by Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center’s Facilities department and friends of the Medical Center.

Since it began 18 years ago, the Sporting Clays event has raised more than $900,000 to help purchase lifesaving equipment and support pediatric programs and research at the Children’s Hospital.
