HERSHEY, Pa. — Tom Stoessel, Penn State Health’s executive vice president and chief strategy officer, has taken on the added role of chief transformation officer, effective Jan. 1.
Stoessel charged with leading transformation efforts for Penn State Health
Stoessel will drive Penn State Health’s transformation to a more functionally and clinically integrated health system with a focus on enhancing coordination, fostering innovation and creating maximum value for patients, employers, referring physicians and others.
He will oversee the systemwide development and ongoing management of key clinical service lines and virtual care strategies and seek ways to drive innovation in the delivery of care. Stoessel will continue to oversee and guide the organization’s strategic direction, develop and implement strategies for clinical growth and seek external partnerships designed to expand clinical and academic missions.
