2024 Benefits Open Enrollment presentations underway

Webinar session run through Nov. 15 and also available on demand for those who cannot attend

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — For benefits-eligible Penn State employees, 2024 Benefits Open Enrollment starts on Monday, Nov. 6, and runs through 5 p.m. EST on Friday, Nov. 17.

Information on health-care plan designs — which remain the same for 2024 — is available on a dedicated 2024 Benefits Open Enrollment section of the Penn State Human Resources website.

To help employees make informed decisions about their 2024 benefits, the Penn State Employee Benefits team, along with Highmark representatives, will conduct live Zoom-based educational webinars throughout October and November to review all benefits options for 2024 and answer any open enrollment questions employees may have. There is no need to register for a presentation — simply access the Zoom link during the scheduled date and time.

For employees who are unable to attend a live presentation, an on-demand version has been created to watch at any time.

During Benefits Open Enrollment, employees will be able to utilize the Benefits Mentor, a tool available in Workday or the WorkLion portal designed to help employees determine which health care plan may be the best for them and their families. Benefits Mentor uses an employee’s claims history to help calculate which health-care plan option may be best.

Visit the 2024 Benefits Open Enrollment webpages for additional information. Employees with questions can contact HR Services at 814-865-1473. Individuals who are unable to attend the webinars may also contact the Highmark concierge team with questions about specific coverage and claims at 844-945-5509.
