UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — For University full-time staff employees, the final step of the 2021-22 performance review cycle, the end-of-year (EOY) review, will begin on Monday, Feb. 14, and must be completed by Thursday, March 31.
“The current performance year was shortened to allow Penn State to transition to a permanent review cycle for full-time employees of April 1-March 31 each year. Human Resources appreciates everyone's patience with these timeline adjustments and encourages you to use your end-of-year review conversation to celebrate your accomplishments and discuss goals for the coming year," said Christy Helms, senior director of talent management for Penn State Human Resources.
To help staff members plan their time during this last phase, the Talent Management team has assembled a suggested timeline which lists each step in the process, due dates and required employee and manager actions. Additionally, there are a variety of training, video and article resources available to support this activity:

As a reminder, the current review cycle includes activities that took place from July 1, 2021, through March 31, 2022.
