On Friday, May 8, Journal Multimedia will host the annual Harrisburg Wine Festival at the State Museum of Pennsylvania benefiting Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital Patient- and Family-Centered Care program. A portion of every ticket sold and the proceeds from the on-site silent auction will benefit the program. Over the past 10 years, the Wine Festival has raised more than $665,000 for the Children’s Hospital.This year’s event will feature 140 vintners and 575 wines from around the world, offering three distinct tastings – a VIP Tasting, a Grand Tasting and a Chairman’s Selection Tasting Seminar with Steve Pollack. The first tastings begin at 5 p.m. Tickets to the VIP tasting are $125 per person, Grand Tasting tickets are $75 per person and the Chairman’s Selection Tasting Seminar tickets are $100 per person.
