On Aug. 9, a convoy of motorcyclists revved up to the entrance of Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital to deliver some important cargo. The bikers drove up from the Chambersburg area to present two white flags and an 8-foot-long banner to the young patients.

Those items will remain at Penn State Hershey for a couple weeks to give children the opportunity to decorate them with drawings and hand prints. The bikers will then fly the flags and display the banner on their Helping Little Hands benefit ride Sept. 7. The event will raise money for the Child Life Program at Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital.

During their visit, bikers gave the children T-shirts and other gifts, and posed for photos.
