The Landscape Architecture Student Society (LASS) at Penn State will be participating in Park(ing) Day from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18. Park(ing) Day is an annual worldwide event where artists, designers and citizens transform metered parking spots into temporary public parks. The LASS students' location for their impromptu park will be on Allen Street just past the intersection of College Ave. in front of Bill Pickles Tap Room.
Visitors to State College may stop by to see the transformed space. Otherwise, check out the Stuckeman School's social media for photos.
