UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Everyday moments with 3- to 5-year-olds are full of adventure, fun, growth and challenges, according to organizers of “Thrive: Sprout,” a Penn State Extension webinar series designed to support parents as they foster their preschool child’s development and resiliency.

The series will take place from 8 to 9 p.m. March 31 through April 28.

Designed for parents and caregivers of children 3 to 5 years old, sessions will peek into the daily routines of four families to see how they manage everyday moments. The program will cover positive parenting practices, stress management and child physical health promotion techniques.

This five-part hybrid program includes virtual on-demand lessons combined with online interactive webinars with extension educators and other parents.

Taught by highly qualified educators with years of experience in child development, Thrive offers programs to empower parents and caregivers as they nurture children to adulthood.

Penn State Extension’s food, families and communities unit partnered with the Clearinghouse for Military Family Readiness at Penn State to offer the "Thrive: Sprout" program.

Penn State Extension offers this webinar series free of charge, but registration by March 24 is required to receive the link to access the webinars.

More information is available on the Penn State Extension website.
