Penn State engineering and visual arts faculty and staff will discuss their work on developing origami structures that fold to achieve artistic creations and applications for solving engineering problems as Penn State Great Valley presents “Folding it Together: Art and Engineering-based Active Origami,” 6:30 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 27, The Conference Center, Penn State Great Valley, 30 E. Swedesford Rd., Malvern. The evening will include clips from the film “Between the Folds,” a description of how the team of engineers and artists came together, and a hands-on origami activity.
