STATE COLLEGE, Pa. -- The Steps 2 Safety 5K Run/Walk will benefit the Centre County Women’s Resource Center on Oct. 6.
The course runs along the Penn State Golf Courses jogging path. Registration begins at noon and the event starts at 1 p.m. All participants will meet at White Course Drive parking lot, near the Penn State campus entrance on North Atherton Street.
Online registration is available until Oct. 4 at http://www.ccwrc.org.
Fees for those who register by Oct. 4 are $15 for children younger than 12, $20 for runners 12 and older, and $50 for a family. Raceday fees are $20 for children younger than 12, $25 for runners 12 and older, and $55 for a family.
Runners can register and pick up race packets from 1 to 3 p.m. Oct. 5 at the Penn State Federal Credit Union, 1937 N. Atherton St.
Steps 2 Safety T-shirts are guaranteed for the first 300 registrants.
