UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Hugs, cheers and snapshots were aplenty as THON dancers passed through the Human Tunnel today to begin their 46-hour, no-sitting, no sleeping adventure in the Bryce Jordan Center.

Since 1977, the Penn State IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon has raised more than $127 million for the Four Diamonds at Penn State Hershey Children's Hospital, aiding in the fight against pediatric cancer.

THON 2016, with the theme “Believe Beyond Boundaries," wraps on Sunday, Feb. 21, with the reveal of the fundraising total at 4 p.m. The entire weekend can be viewed through a live webcast at http://www.thon.org/
