UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The return of President Barron’s monthly show, a new radio program that promotes local musicians from northern and central Pennsylvania, and a cooking show that introduces viewers to recipes from around the world are some of the original programs from WPSU Penn State this fall.

WPSU — central Pennsylvania’s public media station and a Penn State Outreach service — produces original, local programming for WPSU-TV, WPSU-FM and online.

WPSU-FM also will air special 9/11 programming from Sept. 10-12. “Sacred Ground,” the story of a central Pennsylvania man who realized Flight 93 had crashed on his family's land, will air at noon on Friday, Sept. 10, and 7 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 12. On Sept. 11, the station will air special coverage from NPR News during “Weekend Edition” from 8 to 11 a.m. and “All Things Considered” from 5 to 6 p.m.
