UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Do you know a Penn State senior who plans to stay connected with the University after graduation, and is also interested in leadership opportunities? If so, the Penn State Alumni Association's Young Alumni Ambassador Program wants to hear from them.

The Young Alumni Ambassador Program helps develop young alumni into effective volunteer leaders by matching them with an existing alumni volunteer leader, an affiliate group of the Alumni Association, and a professional mentor.

During the year-long program, ambassadors participate in affiliate group activities in their geographic location, help educate groups on how to attract and retain young alumni, and work on individualized goals.

The program is personalized to each participant. Whether each ambassador wants to use their role to spread the good news of Penn State, or increase young alumni participation at local events — it's up to them.

Applications for 2019-2020 are now open, and close March 17.

Apply now.
