UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The popular Teaching with Technology (TwT) workshops return this fall to help faculty develop ways to be agile in a variety of course offerings that incorporate multiple modes of delivery to students.

The workshop series, offered by Teaching and Learning with Technology, introduces technology considerations for the classroom, promotes the alignment of technology tools with learning outcomes, and emphasizes Penn State faculty peer examples to provide context and understanding.

There are three categories of workshops.

  • Experienced faculty provide peer-to-peer examples in the New Faculty sessions, which are open to both new faculty members and returning faculty and staff.
  • In the "General Technology sessions, faculty can learn about specific educational technologies that can enhance student learning and engagement.
  • Prep & Practice sessions introduce concepts followed by time for hands-on practice, with an emphasis on artifact creation within educational technologies that will be utilized in courses.
