UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — This week, we recognize five Penn Staters who go above and beyond what's asked of them in their work at the University. Thank you to:

Karen Harlan, at Penn State New Kensington, whose nominator wrote: "Thanks to Karen‘s creativity and her tenacity, our New Kensington web site and social media pages are up-to-date, attractive and entertaining. Her photography can often be seen on our Facebook pages and allows us to promote our beautiful campus to the public."

Matt Masullo, with Information Technology Services, whose nominator wrote: "Matt is our ‘go to’ on all things IT and their relationship to our campus. When we have issues, they're addressed. Recently, in record time, he helped to figure out ServiceNow issues and got a critical piece of our website launch in order. Matt rocks."

Linda Shetler, with the Office of Student Conduct, whose nominator wrote: "Linda is meticulous and organized, as well as professional and consistently courteous to all of our students and visitors and her peers. So important in such a busy office ... Thank you, Linda!"

Ryan Givens, with Parking, whose nominator wrote: "Ryan has been instrumental in using technology to enhance the customer experience. We accept credit card payments, have multi-space pay stations on campus, are selecting a vendor for automated garage equipment to be installed in three of four parking garages. Technology at its finest, thanks to Ryan!"

Christine Healy, at Penn State Worthington Scranton, whose nominator wrote: "Christy is an unsung hero who is willing to help with numerous issues such as budgets, purchasing card transactions and reconciliation and employee reimbursement. Always friendly and courteous to students, faculty, staff and visitors, Christy is a very valuable asset to Penn State Worthington Scranton."
