GPU Programming using ACC Workshop
11:00 AM - 5:00 PM / November 03, 2025
The Penn State Institute for Computational and Data Sciences (ICDS) is inviting Penn State researchers to join a focused and practical workshop, "GPU Programing using ACC," on Monday, Nov. 3, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in 252 Food Services Building at Penn State University Park.
This workshop includes hands-on exercises using the Bridges-2 computing platform and recommends knowledge of either C or Fortran programming languages. Open ACC has been used to accelerate real applications within short development periods.
This event is in person only and requires a U.S. National Science Foundation Advanced Cyberinfrastructure Coordination Ecosystem: Services and Support (ACCESS) ID, separate from your Penn State account. Interested attendees can sign up for an ACCESS ID on NSF's website and must do so prior to registering for this workshop.
Workshop registration deadline is noon on Friday, Oct. 31.
This workshop, hosted by ICDS, is part of the high-performance computing (HPC) monthly workshop series coordinated by the Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center. This event will be presented using the Wide Area Classroom (WAC) training platform.
