UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — In the ninth episode of Invent Penn State’s “Dare to Disrupt” podcast, host Ryan Newman interviews serial media entrepreneur and current CEO of Infolinks Media, Robert Regular, who received his bachelor’s degree in communications and business from Penn State.

Regular has founded, grown and exited four digital media technology companies with teams and locations around the world. He has been at the forefront of the creation of digital internet advertising and technology platforms from the beginning of the world wide web and e-commerce.

In this episode, Regular talks about how he entered the digital media space, convincing people in the late '90s that they needed e-commerce and news websites. He also discusses how he developed resilience, enduring and pivoting through the dot-com collapse, 9/11, and the 2008 financial crisis. Regular observed the digital advertising space evolve, and shares where he thinks it’s heading. His current company, Infolinks Media, has the mission of providing publishers with the most effective and powerful ad products.
