UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Students can present their startups, network and more at Demo Day during Global Entrepreneurship Week Penn State. Demo Day, hosted by student organization Innoblue, will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. on Nov. 14 in Room 603 of the Eric J. Barron Innovation Hub at 123 S. Burrowes St.

The event is open to all Penn State students and is meant to inspire, educate, and help students begin their entrepreneurship journey and learn more about available University resources.

“Innoblue is super excited to host this event specifically for Penn State students during GEW Penn State,” Innoblue President Tanishq Barot (human-centered design and development, class of 2024) said. “This event promotes the celebration of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurs, allowing students of diverse backgrounds to come together to learn, ideate, and engage their curiosity. I have a firm belief that our network is our net worth. At Demo Day, we are doing just that by bringing alumni, entrepreneurs, and venture capitalists, as well as connecting with fellow student-led organizations at Penn State, to promote entrepreneurship to students of all backgrounds.”

This event will highlight student entrepreneurs, offer a space for them to present their startups, and provide an opportunity to network with peers, alumni, faculty, and community members.

“The workshops and connections I gathered when I attended blueStart last year have immensely helped me out with the launch of my new startup, Tagly,” Barot said about the Innoblue-run event. “I met my co-founder through Innoblue, and all of the people I have met through Innoblue have immensely helped me with funding, resources, and advice.”
