CENTER VALLEY, Pa. — Penn State Lehigh Valley is hosting its sixth annual golf tournament to benefit the campus' scholarship fund on Monday, June 4, at Northampton Country Club in Easton.

The lead sponsors include FC Steel, the Lehigh Valley’s newest premier soccer organization, which is serving as the title sponsor of the tournament. Alvin H. Butz Inc. will serve as the on course refreshment sponsor, and Fitzpatrick Lentz & Bubba, P.C. will serve as the golf cart sponsor.

"We are excited to have these three organizations serve as sponsors for our sixth annual Scholarship Golf Tournament! Their generosity will help make our golf tournament a success, and in turn support future students as we raise money for scholarship opportunities," said Tina Q. Richardson, Penn State Lehigh Valley chancellor.

The 2018 co-chairs for the tournament are Kassie Hilgert (class of 1997) and Mike Guman (class of 1980). Hilgert is president and CEO of ArtsQuest, one of the largest nonprofit arts organizations in Pennsylvania. Guman is a senior advisor consultant for the Eastern Pennsylvania area for OppenheimerFunds. He was a star football player for Penn State in the 1970s, before playing for the Los Angeles Rams from 1980 to 1988.

Breakfast and registration begin at 8:30 a.m., followed by a shotgun start at 9 a.m. Registration for the tournament is open. More information can be accessed on the tournament website.
