CENTER VALLEY, Pa. — Penn State Lehigh Valley has announced the following new faculty and staff hires:
Heather S. Amatore was named an administrative assistant at Penn State Lehigh Valley. Amatore earned an Associate of Science in biological science and an Associate of Arts and Science in medical laboratory technology, both from Northampton Community College. She had previously served as part-time evening receptionist at Penn State Lehigh Valley, and as a teacher assistant at Farmersville Elementary in Bethlehem Area School District. Amatore currently resides in Bethlehem Township, Pennsylvania.
Jessica Dow has joined Penn State Lehigh Valley as career services coordinator. Dow earned an education specialist degree in professional counseling, a post master’s certificate in school counseling, as well as a Master of Arts in counseling, and a Bachelor of Science in education and human services all from Seton Hall University in New Jersey. She had previously served as a senior academic and career advisor at Miami Dade College in Florida. Dow resides in Macungie, Pennsylvania.
Tom Dubreuil, has joined Penn State Lehigh Valley as director of student affairs. Dubreuil earned a Master of Arts in higher education: student affairs from the University of Connecticut and a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Middlebury College in Vermont. He had previously served as assistant director of parent giving at Lafayette College and before that as director of student affairs at Penn State Schuylkill. Dubreuil resides in Bethlehem Township, Pennsylvania.
Pam Fleck, has joined Penn State Lehigh Valley as assistant director of student affairs. Fleck earned a Master of Science in recreation and parks with a therapeutic recreation emphasis and a Bachelor of Science in individual and family studies, both from Penn State. She had previously served as a staff assistant in the office of student affairs at Penn State Lehigh Valley and is also still serving as a consultant for the American Therapeutic Recreation Association. Fleck resides in Emmaus, Pennsylvania.
Amy Gery, has joined Penn State Lehigh Valley as visual communications specialist. Gery earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in communication design at Kutztown University. She had previously served as creative director at Weekly Reader Publishing.
Thomas Hess, CPA, has joined Penn State Lehigh Valley as a part-time faculty member in health policy and administration. Hess earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh and a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Penn State. He serves as the chief financial officer at Genomind, Inc. Hess currently resides in Center Valley, Pennsylvania.
Sharon Neders was named development assistant and stewardship coordinator at Penn State Lehigh Valley. Neders earned a Bachelor of Arts in art from Moravian College. She previously served as an administrative assistant at Penn State Lehigh Valley. Neders resides in Coopersburg, Pennsylvania.
Denise O’Neill has joined Penn State Lehigh Valley as director of enrollment management. O’Neill earned a Doctor of Education in higher and adult education from the Teachers College, Columbia University, as well as a Master of Arts in psychology from Marist College, and a Bachelor of Arts in criminal justice from Moravian College. She had previously served as the director of residential life and acting director of athletics at Stockton University in New Jersey and as the acting dean of students and associate dean of students at Cedar Crest College. O’Neill resides in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
Sarah Pasetsky, was named student engagement assistant at Penn State Lehigh Valley. Pasetsky earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Northwood University in Florida. She had previously served as part-time fitness center supervisor at Penn State Lehigh Valley. Pasetsky also serves as the assistant coach for Penn State Lehigh Valley’s women’s basketball and women’s volleyball teams. She resides in Macungie, Pennsylvania.
Joseph W. Schwartz, Jr., has joined Penn State Lehigh Valley as an enrollment services specialist. Schwartz earned a Bachelor of Science in human development and family students from Penn State. He had previously served as an admissions counselor at Kutztown University. Schwartz resides in Northampton, Pennsylvania.
David M. Yanoshik, has joined Penn State Lehigh Valley as director of business development in the Office of Business Development and Community Outreach. Yanoshik earned a Bachelor of Arts in journalism from Penn State. He had previously served as vice president of marketing and community engagement at Active Data in Bethlehem. He resides in Bethlehem Township, Pennsylvania.
