Sharon Wright Austin, professor of political science at the University of Florida, will lay out the key issues related to recent attacks on Black studies at all levels of the educational system and discuss ways to respond to the assault during a lecture at Penn State's University Park campus. The talk will be held at 5 p.m. Feb. 28 in Foster Auditorium, 102 Paterno Library. The forum is presented by the Penn State Department of African American Studies, with additional support from the Humanities Institute and Department of Political Science.
