Now accepting You Rock Award nominations

The Staff Advisory Committee is now accepting nominations for the You Rock Award. This award was created as a way to recognize and honor unusual dedication and outstanding contributions by the staff members in the College of the Liberal Arts. If you know someone who fits this criteria, fill out the short nomination form here.

Staff coffee hour

All staff in the College of the Liberal Arts were invited to an informal gathering on Jan. 19 to connect with people from across the college. Thank you to those who attended. Keep an eye out for more upcoming events hosted by the Staff Advisory Committee in the next couple months.

Canvas returns to WebAccess on Jan. 25

At 6 a.m. Jan. 25, the Office of the Vice President for Information Technology (OPVIT) will move Canvas back to WebAccess authentication. Canvas had been switched to an alternate authentication method on Aug. 22, 2016. Users logging in to Canvas after the move will be prompted to either log in to WebAccess with their Penn State user ID and password or will enter Canvas directly via single sign-on if they have a currently active WebAccess session. Please contact lmssupport@psu.edu with any questions.

New online form for U.Ed. requests

The Office of Strategic Communications in the College of the Liberal Arts has created a website to house information about the University Editor (U.Ed.) process, visual identity, social media, and more. From now on, U.Ed. requests should be submitted through this website. If you create and/or distribute promotional materials for your unit, please familiarize yourself with this site: https://sites.psu.edu/liberalartscommunications/.
