Founder of digital health company to speak at Entrepreneur’s Roundtable

The Office of Technology Development will hold an Entrepreneur’s Roundtable -- featuring the founder and CEO of ThoroughCare, Dan Godla -- from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 18 at the Hershey Center for Applied Research, room 1103.

Godla will address his decision to pursue entrepreneurship and forming a health care technology company. Godla founded ThoroughCare in July 2013 to provide an alternative to traditional patient assessments.

A Penn State alumnus, Godla received his bachelor’s degree in information systems and a master’s degree management of technologies from California University of Pennsylvania. Prior to forming ThoroughCare, Godla held several different positions in the technology industry, including system administration, database analyst, business analyst, and technical director in the Medical Services department. Through his experiences, Godla realized there was an unmet need in the market for his technology.
