Kohl’s will present Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital with a check for $153,285 at the opening bell ceremony for the Farmer’s Market in Hershey on Aug. 8. Through outreach events like the Farmer’s Market in Hershey, the Kohl’s funded Healthy Champions program, delivered by Penn State Hershey PRO Wellness Center, teaches children and families the importance of bringing healthy choices to life — starting with eating healthy and getting active.

The gift supports Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital and Penn State Hershey PRO Wellness Center in efforts to fight childhood obesity by supporting programs for advancing nutrition and activity awareness in the community.

Through the Kohl's Cares cause merchandise program, anyone can help support the Kohl’s Healthy Champions program with the purchase of a $5 Kohl’s Cares book or plush toy found at any Kohl’s location in York, Lancaster, Lebanon, Carlisle, Mechanicsburg, Hanover, Colonial Park, Williamsport or Selinsgrove. One hundred percent of the net profits supports children’s health and educational opportunities.
