The project will modernize and alter the exterior of the complex. Alterations include new windows, doors and siding as well as new interior finishes which will include kitchens, bathroom vanities, washers, dryers and floor covering. The heating, cooling and plumbing systems will be upgraded, new lighting will be installed, and new cable, phone and data networks are to be installed. Most notably the buildings will be equipped with sprinklers and new fire alarm systems.
To provide the contractor a place to store materials, a parking lot will be assigned to the contractor adjacent to each phase for the duration of that phase. In addition, parking lots 10 & 11 will be reserved for the contractor's use for the duration of the project.
A construction fence will be erected around each phase during its construction to provide security. The fence will prohibit movement through the construction area during the duration of each phase.
