John T. Repke, professor and chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in the Penn State College of Medicine, Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, will speak at the August brown-bag lunch seminar from 12 noon to 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 20, in room C3621. The presentation is called "Pregnancy: How do I know if I'm 'high-risk?'" Repke is an internationally recognized expert in maternal-fetal medicine. Topics to be addresssed include:
-- What pre-existing factors determine if a pregnancy is high-risk?
-- What should women be aware of throughout their pregnancy that might indicate high risk?
Women's Health specialists present a variety of topics during lunchtime sessions the third Friday of each month. Attendees can bring their lunches; Women's Health will provide drinks and dessert.
