“We are thrilled Dr. Dan Pesut, a globally recognized nursing leader recently honored by STTI with the International Danel J. Pesut Spirit of Renewal Award, will be our WE LEAD Inspirational Speaker on March 15th," Leight said. "Addressing 'Reflection and Reimagination,' Dr. Pesut will challenge us to create bold leadership legacies for deep and lasting change and encourage us to ‘leave our legacy now.’ I look forward to a fascinating discussion."

WE LEAD aims to develop, foster and champion the leadership competencies of emerging and established nurse leaders, preparing them to build a culture of health around the world. Using experiential learning to add depth to the student experience, the academy covers topics like entrepreneurship, negotiation and innovation. The themes and curriculum were developed around the ANA’s Leadership Institutes pillars of leading yourself, leading others and leading the organization.
