Pittsburgh artist Phyllis Koehler displays her watercolor works during November at the Penn State New Kensington Art Gallery. The exhibit is a collection of floral still lifes and landscapes featuring delicate lines and a keen sense of color. The watercolorist's nature-orientated subjects often border between fantasy and realism. Koehler, a graduate of the Ad Art Studio in Pittsburgh, has earned numerous awards at national and regional art shows and her paintings can be found in private and professional collections. Her watercolors are influenced by her love of gardening and flower arranging as well as her interest in color and design. Art Gallery hours are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and noon to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. To view the exhibit photos, visit http://www.nk.psu.edu/Information/News/30750.htm online.
