Nittany Lion Shrine to be closed Nov. 23 for tree removal

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Nittany Lion Shrine on Penn State's University Park campus will be closed on Tuesday, Nov. 23, for the removal of a damaged white oak tree in the vicinity of the shrine.

The Office of Physical Plant apologizes for any inconvenience this temporary closure may cause. The replanting of trees near the shrine is already underway.
