UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Sokolov-Miller Family Financial and Life Skills Center will start its fall 2023 schedule of webinars with “Paying for College” at noon on Aug. 22.

This webinar is designed to assist current and prospective students and parents in navigating the complexities of college expenses. Participants will receive guidance on completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and gain insights into various funding sources, such as scholarships, grants, and federal and private loans. It will explore practical strategies for saving on education costs and discuss what students need to do to remain eligible for financial aid. By empowering themselves with a strong understanding of financial aid processes, students can make well-informed decisions throughout their college journey.
