UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Registration for summer 2024 courses at all Penn State campuses will open on Friday, Feb. 2. Students can choose from thousands of summer courses at 20 Penn State campuses or online through World Campus.

Summer courses give students the opportunity to take courses that may not have fit into their schedules during the school year, catch up on missing credits or retake a course. It’s also a chance for students to get ahead in their degree programs, devote time to a minor or certificate or focus on a particularly challenging course. Courses for summer 2024 will be offered in many different modes from Penn State’s campuses or online through World Campus.

Find a schedule of summer 2024 courses in LionPATH and more detailed course descriptions in the University Bulletin. Courses can be added to LionPATH shopping carts starting now. Instruction begins for Maymester courses on May 6, Summer Session I courses on May 13 and Summer Session II courses on June 26.

Scholarships are available to eligible students, at any Penn State campus, through the Office for Summer Session. Students can earn a $2,000 scholarship toward summer tuition if they have fallen behind in their degree progress and have demonstrated financial need. Apply now for a Summer Success Scholarship by April 19.

The Office for Summer Session is part of Penn State Undergraduate Education, the academic administrative unit that provides leadership and coordination for University-wide programs in support of undergraduate teaching and learning at Penn State.
