WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Ten Pennsylvania College of Technology students were recently awarded financial assistance through the Allan Myers Corporate Scholars program.
Allan Myers, one of the mid-Atlantic’s largest heavy civil construction firms, is a decades-long supporter of the college and its “tomorrow maker” students.
This year’s scholarship recipients and their majors are Emery H. Cathcart, of Huntingdon, welding technology; Eli C. Cherry, of New Enterprise, construction management; Chris A. Fisher, of Middleburg, construction management; Josh W. Foley, of Williamstown, New Jersey, construction management; Favian J. Frutos-Corona, of Reading, construction management; Anthony M. Glotfelty, of Broomall, construction management; James S. Lawson, of Collegeville, construction management; Austin W. Pusey, of Whaleyville, Maryland, construction management; Brayden P. Rothenberger, of Pennsburg, heavy construction equipment technology: operator emphasis; and Ryan Wallbillich, of Nazareth, heavy construction equipment technology: operator emphasis.
“Getting chosen for the scholarship from Allan Myers truly is an honor,” Frutos-Corona said. “As a first-generation college student, it does more than just help financially; it adds to the motivation to succeed that I came to college with, along with making my family proud.”
Allan Myers is among the dedicated partners in the college’s Corporate Tomorrow Makersprogram, with a history of inspiring, mentoring, hiring and promoting Penn College students and graduates.
The company has also supported the college’s equipment needs, including the Allan Myers Field Site for heavy equipment and diesel instruction at the college’s Heavy Equipment Operations Site in Brady Township.

To be selected for an Allan Myers Corporate Scholarship, students must be an employee (or family member of an employee) of Allan Myers enrolled full time in one of the following two-year programs: automotive technology, automotive technology: Honda PACT, heavy construction equipment technology: Caterpillar equipment emphasis, heavy construction equipment technology: operator emphasis, heavy construction equipment technology: technician emphasis, or civil engineering technology. Alternatively, an applicant may be enrolled in the four-year construction management or civil engineering technology majors.
