WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. — Pennsylvania College of Technology has hired Jason K. Bogle as director of construction projects/construction manager.
Bogle comes to Penn College from Lobar Inc. in Dillsburg, where he had been a construction project manager since 2007.
A Penn College alumnus, Bogle earned an associate degree in civil engineering technology in 2006. He also studied agronomy and environmental sciences at Delaware Valley College of Science and Agriculture (now Delaware Valley University).
With 20 years’ experience in the construction industry, Bogle previously worked as a project manager/estimator, engineering technician, survey technician, and survey instrument operator for companies in northcentral and western Pennsylvania.
In his new position, Bogle will monitor Penn College’s building and renovation projects, providing leadership and daily direction, serving as “clerk of the works” on larger projects and as construction manager for those under $1 million. He also will act as a liaison between contractors, architects, engineers and the executive director of general services for the college, among a variety of other duties and responsibilities.
“Jason’s industry experience, along with his skill set and expertise, will be a major asset in the planning and execution of major projects on campus,” said Timothy O. Rissel, executive director of general services at Penn College. “We are excited to welcome him to our team and look forward to the value he will add to Penn College.”
