WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. — A foundation dedicated to supporting packaging and processing education throughout North America has awarded a $5,000 scholarship to a Pennsylvania College of Technology plastics student.
Morgan T. Bartholomew, of Etters, is one of six students to receive the PACK EXPO scholarship from the PMMI Foundation of the Association for Packaging and Processing Technologies. A dean’s list student, Bartholomew is seeking a bachelor’s degree in plastics and polymer engineering technology.
The PMMI Foundation provides more than $200,000 annually in scholarships to students attending PMMI education partners. To qualify, students must have a 3.0 minimum GPA; major in engineering, packaging, processing, mechatronics or a related field; and demonstrate a commitment to the industry.
Bartholomew is a Penn College Presidential Student Ambassador.
Penn College is one of six institutions nationwide offering plastics degrees that are accredited by the Engineering Technology Accreditation Commission of ABET. Students may seek a bachelor’s degree in plastics and polymer engineering technology or an associate degree in plastics and polymer technology.
