Kenneth Womack, expert on The Beatles, will make a college-wide presentation on George Martin, musical producer for the Beatles, at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 1, in the Multipurpose Room, Perkins Student Center, Penn State Berks. This presentation is free and open to the public.
Womak was formerly the associate dean for academic affairs at Penn State Altoona. He was also the 2013-14 Penn State Laureate, and in that role, he traveled to the Penn State campuses to present his research on The Beatles. He is the author of several books on The Beatles including the textbook "Long and Winding Roads: The Evolving Artistry of the Beatles," which Penn State Berks is currently using in its course InArt 205: Introducing The Beatles.
Womack is currently the dean of the Wayne D. McMurray School of Humanities and Social Sciences and professor of English at Monmouth University in New Jersey.
