UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The tiniest of fossils hold a lot of information for scientists to use to recreate past climates. Katherine Freeman, Evan Pugh University Professor of Geosciences at Penn State, will discuss the molecular signatures of ancient climates at 11:15 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 17. The talk will be broadcast via Zoom.
Freeman’s talk is part of the Earth System Science Center’s spring 2021 Climate Dynamics seminar series. The series focuses on the cutting-edge climate research being conducted in the Earth and Environmental Systems Institute and the Climate Science dual-title graduate program in the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences at Penn State.
