Climate Solutions Symposium calls for posters from students, researchers

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Penn State Climate Solutions Symposium has announced a call for climate-related posters. Undergraduate and graduate students, post-docs, extension educators and faculty are encouraged to present posters at an in-person poster session focused on climate solutions. Students may attend the conference at no cost.

The deadline for poster registration is May 17, 2023, at 5 p.m. Posters presented at other events are welcome. Posters may remain up for the entire conference.

Conference attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the innovative interdisciplinary climate solutions research occurring at Penn State. Poster presenters will have the opportunity to share their climate-related projects with a wide audience, including industry, government, NGOs and academia. 

The Climate Solutions Symposium will occur on May 22 and 23 at the Penn Stater Hotel and Conference Center. The two-day event will feature plenaries, panel discussions, breakout sessions, an arts and communication session and a poster session, all focused on developing and elevating solutions to climate change.
