UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State geography professor and director of Riparia Rob Brooks will talk about how to link ecological indicators and ecosystem services provided by wetlands during his Coffee Hour lecture at 4 p.m. Friday, Jan. 15, in 112 Walker Building on the Penn State University Park campus.
The talk is free and open to the public and will also be streamed live. Refreshments are served at 3:30 p.m. in 319 Walker Building. For those who cannot view it live, the webcast will be archived for later viewing.
Coffee Hour has been presented weekly by the Department of Geography for 48 years to promote collegiality and discussion around entertaining and thought-provoking topics. Topics have included climate change, online learning, social justice, mass transit, carbon sequestration and cartography.
