UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Michael Curry, vice president for IBM Watson Health, will discuss some of the greatest challenges facing the health care industry and how artificial intelligence (AI) is helping to lead the way to finding solutions during the Nittany AI Inspire virtual event and ideation session “Health, AI and the Greater Good” from 6-9:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 18. The event is organized by the Nittany AI Alliance, a Penn State Outreach service.
Carolyn Donaldson, community engagement manager for WPSU Penn State, will moderate a discussion with Curry along with Forrest Briscoe, professor of management and organization for the Penn State Smeal College of Business and Rock Ethics Institute Faculty Fellow, and Lindsay Buzzelli, a third-year medical student at Penn State College of Medicine and a member of the Contact Tracing Task Force at Penn State.
