UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The $2.1 billion research contract that the Applied Research Lab at Penn State received from the U.S. Navy will be discussed during the next episode of President Eric J. Barron’s WPSU show, “Digging Deeper,” at 11:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Sunday, May 6, on WPSU-TV.
Paul E. Sullivan, the executive director of the Applied Research Lab, and graduate researcher Sara Jamshidi will join Barron to discuss the 10-year contract, the largest research contract in the University’s history, which the ARL received in March 2018. It will provide the lab with the necessary resources to conduct research and development to improve U.S. national security.
