PRINT magazine Agency of the Year joins Stuckeman School for virtual lecture

UNIVERSTY PARK, Pa. — Jake and Pum Lefebure, co-founders of the 2020 PRINT magazine Agency of the Year Design Army, joins the Stuckeman School at 1:30 p.m. on Feb. 5 as part of the school’s Spring Virtual Lecture Series.

A 1996 Penn State graphic design alumnus, Jake and his wife Pum started Design Army in Washington, D.C. in 2003. Since then, the multidisciplinary award-winning firm has developed an international reputation for its visually stunning creative media campaigns for clients such as The Ritz-Carlton, Adobe, Hong Kong Ballet, Lucas Film, Disney and the Academy Awards.

As the CEO, Jake oversees the firm’s daily operations and is responsible for leading all new business and strategy development. He was named as one of the top “50 People to Watch” by Graphic Design USA in 2009 and his work has been featured in a number of publications, including Applied Arts, Art4D, Communication Arts, Graphis, HOW, Novum and PRINT.

A native of Thailand, Pum is Design Army’s chief creative officer and the driving force behind the firm’s trendsetting visual campaigns. She uses her entrepreneurial voice to represent women in global campaigns, such as H&M’s “She’s A Lady,” and has been featured in Forbes, Huffington Post, Entrepreneur and Elle. She was also recently named to Adweek’s “Creative100.”
