Researchers react: Science fact versus fiction in new ‘Twisters’ film

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Tornadoes have the power to capture imaginations, haunt dreams and even tear across the big screen. But how does Hollywood’s treatment of tornadoes compare to the science behind the phenomena?
