HARRISBURG, Pa. — The Penn State Harrisburg School of Public Affairs will host a Civic Education and Leadership event from 5:15 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 31, in the Pennsylvania State Capitol in Harrisburg.
Carol McNamara, associate director for public programs and a senior lecturer for the School of Civic and Economic Thought and Leadership at Arizona State University, will be the keynote speaker.
“We are pleased to host the first Civic Education and Leadership event to showcase how the School of Public Affairs’ programs are advancing the public sector and civil society in Pennsylvania and the nation,” said School Director Patria de Lancer Julnes.
Faculty members from the school programs will also be guest speakers.
